    I am contracted to do 132hrs a month.I was on duty and during the shift my manager called and told me she has to remove me from the shift and a male member of staff is coming to takeover.The reason I was given is that there was an allegation against the client by another female member.All my shifts were taken away and was told not to go for my rotared shifts.This caused me to work less than my contracted hours.I was later told that the company has decided that only male staff are to work with the client.Nothing has been said about what’s going to happen regarding my contract and pay and when I asked I don’t get a straight answer only that they are doing it to protect me.Yesterday the manager told me they are offering me bank shifts and that I should go on indeed to find out what packages they have.I asked her why I should look for work when I have a permanent contract.The answer was’ oh yeh that.Talk to xxxx on Monday’.
    How can I address this issue and what am I entitled to.

    If you are contracted to work 132 hours per month your employer has to pay you for those hours whether or not they give you those hours to work.

      If you are on a permanent contract of employment which contracts you to 132 hours then this is what they need to pay you, unless your contract states something to the effect that if you cannot be put on shifts that equate to 132 hours per month then you will only be paid for the hours you wok.
