Your employer has a 'Duty of Care' towards you, although some employers behave like there isn't one.
Your welfare is important because they need / want you to be productive. It sounds like you have been
diagnosed with a mental health condition, you can bypass your immediate manager and advise HR of
your condition who in turn can refer you to occupational health.
