    Hi All

Finally we exchanged witness statements yesterday (albeit one of there's wasn't signed).
Now today the solicitor as emailed me saying as there are 7 witnesses in total ..including myself..the 2 days allocated by the court will not be long enoug. Two of the witness have very short statements and probably won't take up time.
    Does this seem reasonable?

    Thanks

Glad to hear that you have now exchanged the witness statements.

So the hearing willl require both sides to set out their case, witnesses need to be taken through their statements by their own team and then the other side has a chance to cross exam and also the tribuanl panel can ask any questions they feel are relevant. Then there will be the closing statements from both sides.

It may be that 2 days will be pushing the ability to get the case heard. Any witnesses part-way through their evidence will need to be held over until some date in the future (and it may be very future), so not ideal. Much better to get the hearing done in "one go" rather than having to deal with a potential lengthy adjournment.

Thank you for the advice...I didnt want them delaying unnecessarily. Such a shame when I have had that hearing date set for such a long time.
