My employer has insinuated I asked & agreed to redeployment during a private conversation with him.
This was not the case. My line manager brought up redeployment & I said I would consider it as an option.
All correspondence after official meeting with HR & manager now state I asked for redeployment. I said I would consider it as an option only, I never actually agreed.
my line manager & HR have now added me to the redeployment register. I have asked approximately 10 times via email in the last 8 weeks, what reason has been listed as redeployment, they refused to answer my question.
after 5 weeks they finally answered “ breakdown in relationships within the office”
I was very confused as to why this reason has been used. I asked why relationships have been broken & with whom.
management & HR have refused to answer.
they never seem to want to put anything in writing.
is this allowed, am I within my right to have them respond in writing or can they choose not & reply via teams etc.
i’d rather have it in writing for my records as, note taking in meeting haven’t been accurate. In fact no official note taker has been put in place, it’s been the manager.
