I am one of two employees being made redundant as there is now only one role available.
Can two people be measured against the same matrix if one is more senior and are on considerably more money.
I was brought in on what was described as a junior position and so accepted the lower salary, however HR have told me we have exactly the same job description and will be evaluated on the same matrix even though the other person has been given more responsibility.
My feeling is that salary doesn’t matter it’s the role description that counts. Even though we do different things in role.
