Nightmare.

Hi.

last Tuesday I advised my manager I was unwell and had an emergency appointment at 3, that was at 12:56 she was covering another showroom and there was only me in the shop (there’s two in every showroom)

I advised my regional manager who advised me he was sending my boss back to our showroom and getting one of the other staff to cover her showroom (whilst she came back to me)…turns out he told her he never said that! Ughhh

2:55 I left left a sign in the window and locked.
had a phone call from my boss later on advising her the outcome and we agreed based on my actions I’d be receiving a disciplinary (don’t ask me why)….they’re aware of my health problems.

so I emailed my notice that evening and thanked them etc.

tomorrow I intend to get a sick note as this problem has been going on for 8/9 months now but I’ve worked through it.

Have I gone about this the wrong way? Because I just keep being bothered by them and hounded when truth be told I’ve had every intention of going back tomorrow but I simply can’t due to the pain.

Sorry she advised me it will be a disciplinary action.

And advised me that I hadn’t had permission to leave.

I was under the impression that she was coming back due to my conversation with my regional boss.

Didn't you tell your boss that the Regional manager OK'd you leaving work? Is the Regional manager denying they told you this?
