Hi there,
I was employed by a media agency from the beginning of January until mid April. I was dismissed due to working externally and it being classed as a conflict of interest.
On being dismissed I submitted my expenses claim. I did this as usual via email to the MD. This company had no expenses claim forms, it was an incredibly poorly run outfit.
The company have now refused to pay my mileage expenses for over a month claiming that they are incorrect. I have emailed so many times and been fobbed off. I finally now have an email from them detailing what they think my mileage expenses should be. It's gone from 1400.1 miles to less than 700. I cannot prove I completed these miles as I simply followed a calendar that only they have access to. They will not share them with me. They are also now saying that they will be going through my historic mileage claims and be deducting anything they think is incorrect from this latest claim.
Can they do this? What should I do?
I have already involved Acas and am willing to go to tribunal if needed.
Thanks.
