  • Termination certificate

I’ve resigned from my job and am leaving next week. My employer Is trying to get me to “agree to” a Termination certificate. This is via an electronic tick box on their HR platform.
the very basically says I need to return co property and have confidentiality obligations going forward as per our contracts. But it’s doesn’t exactly use the same language as the employment contract.
for all I know it could be widening it, so
    a) is this normal?
    b) do I have to do it?
    c) should I do it?

Should have said in principal it’s all fine - obs I will return any via property and fulfil ongoing obligations as per the contract - it’s just this seems odd to me to adding an addendum to the contract apparently restating the contract - I’m a suspicious person by nature...!

What is the difference in the wording from you contract to what you are being asked to sign on the Termination Certificate?

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
