DBS check after spent conviction

Hi

i feel sick to my stomach! My fraud conviction is spent, I’ve worked for my employer for 9 years or so, they have brought in 16-19 year old apprenticeships and want me to take on the project. I’ve been reading and they may want me to do a dbs check and my conviction. Is going to show! I’m so embarrassed and hoping I don’t have to do it as I will need to explain but I have Thai awful feeling they sack me! It’s spent and I know I didn’t need to say anything but I’ve done so well in my job, really feel sick they’ll let me go

There are different filters applied to standard or enhanced DBS checks and therefore what appears on the certificate. Below is a link to a governement site that may provide yoy some more specific information.

I would try not to worry- I had an enhanced DBS check for working with vulnerable people that showed something but when explained I was able to carry on.
