Is it legal for a manager who carried out an investigation to carry out the disciplinary hearing? also is it fair to give 24 hrs notice and no access to counter evidence?

How long has you been employed by the company and how large is the company?
Ideally the person carrying out the disciplinary should be different from the person who conducted the investigation.
In my opinion 24 hours notice is not enough time for you to review the documents provided by the company to support the allegations that are being made in order to prepare your defence in time for the meeting.If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com
