    Furlough pay

    My work this month have made me take 1 weeks mandatory holiday and worked it as such that with my holiday pay I'm still Only bringing home just over the 80% furlough pay. So in fact I'm paying myself some furlough pay.
    I'm just asking are they allowed to do that even though they can claim 80% from the government. Shouldn't my hol pay be on top.

    If you were required to take holiday by your company firstly, they should have given you the required notice which is double the amount of time that they want you to take off. Secondly, in regard to payment you should have been paid at 100% for the days that were holiday the remainder of the time in the month would have been at the 80%.
