Hello all, wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction please....employed on a salary for 3 years and had been deducted tax and NI as per HMRC on my full gross pay without ever getting a payslip/p60. When I went onto my HMRC account I found the company had actually put me on a much smaller salary therefore very negligible tax and ni due and paid the balance on CIS, again without ever giving me an end of year statement or any paperwork until last week and then pocketed the difference. Basically over the 3 years they have deducted nearly £30k and I obviously want the money back as well as the issues/fines I am going to get with filing late self assessment and paying 9% national insurance on the CIS.*

Hi, I am slightly confused, you say that you are employed, however the CIS scheme, as I understand, is where contractors deduct monies from subcontractor payments and pass to HMRC. If you were an employee then you would not be eligible for CIS. If you were a subcontractor were you registered with HMRC for the CIS scheme or not?*If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com
I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.
I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
