  • Not been paid - no spare cash!

    Hello,*

I work for a franchise version of a very large coffee shop and my employer has failed to pay everyone - I’m assuming there’s around 100 if not more employees.*
I have no food and am meant to be paying a deposit on a new flat today - this is my fault clearly as I’ve planned it badly and didn’t expect any issues or delays.*

What can I do? We’ve heard nothing helpful from managers and 0 from the company itself.*

    Thanks!!

Hi it’s the OP here, we usually get paid either Friday/Sat/Mon depending on bank account. So some people haven’t been paid for 2 days now.*

Mine is Monday. We get paid biweekly.*

      So my next is 30th*

The first thing you need to do if you have not already done so is to ask your employer why you have not been paid and when they will be paying you. If they can make some assurances to that you will be paid in a few days then you may want to see what happens. If you do not get paid at all then you would be able to make a claim at an Employment Tribunal via the ACAS Early Conciliation process as the first step in that process.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
