Company changing hands, who pays me over summer holiday

Hello and thank you in advance for your help.
I work in school for independent catering company. We just learned that company lost the contract and we will be employed by new company as of 18th of July, which is end of current academic year. My wages are paid pro rata, tj 12 equal payments, even tho I dont work in holidays. My question is, who is going to pay my wages half of july and in august, when company change hands? Old company will still own me pay for that year, but I will have new contract with new company.*
