  • Training bond

    My contract states

if the company pays for training for you, you will be tied into a training bond. This means, should you leave the company within 24 months.m, after completion of the course, you will be lia or to reimburse the company for the cost of the course pro-rays up to 24 months.

The first two courses I did I had to then sign an additional agreement stating the course title and cost along with how the cost could or would be repaid should I leave.

The last two courses I have done they did not do this and I was not aware of the cost implications.

Can I still be held liable for the pro-rats amount?

Is the first statement part of your post about the training bond part of your contract of employment?

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
