  • Grievance Letter To Employer

My husband was suspended from work on the 20th December.

He's been told the reason why; he's been telling a member of staff to "f**k off" every time they pass each other.

My husband has obviously denied this.

He's worked there for 31 years, with an unblemished record. up to this point.

I've done a very lengthy letter of grievance to the employer.

Theres 5 pages in total, alledging lots of stuff which can be proven against the complainant.

For starters, hubby is requesting a drugs test on this persons as he smokes weed, and has taken coacaine on business premises.

Its in the company's written handbook 0 tolerance and drugs tests can be carried out.

I've put it in the letter "WITHOUT PREJUDICE" so that company can't use the letter against my husband, as technically he is now deemed a whistleblower.

I don't know what going tp happen when he goes back on Monday if husband gets the sack or a warning.

Either way it will be fought!!

If they suspended your husband in Dec has the company carried out an investigation in the meantime?
Is he returning to work on Monday because he has been notified that his suspension has been lifted?
Has he been given any indication that the investigation whilst he was suspended will result in disciplinary action being taken?
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.

He's going back to work tomorrow at 8.30 to see what is going on.

He's heard nothing about being disciplined at the moment.
