Have you been in for your meeting yet? By what you have said in your thread is it about 2 weeks since you were suspended?
Sorry i also meant to ask at what point in this process do I get to see the so-called evidence that they are supposed to have? Ive been given no information whatsoever about this other than the basics of the allegations. And when can i find out who made these allegations? Sorry to keep asking questions. And i do appreciate your help.

It does seem to have taken a long time to deal with the investigation given that do not have your meeting until later this week and I can understand how distressing this must be for you.

So at the moment you have just been provided with the basic allegations of why you have been suspended which was given to you at the time? Have they given you any information in regard to what they want to discuss at the meeting on 12th? If they have not it may be an idea to email the person who is going to conduct the meeting and ask them for further information about the meeting/allegation in order that you can prepare for the meeting.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.

Update: the investigating officer emailed me last week wanting my witness statement written in advance of this thursdays meeting and sent to him via email. Immediately i felt uncomfortable doing this as I have no details or “evidence” from them to complete a witness statement on. All i've been given are a few letters saying the same thing (the basic allegations) and absolutely nothing else. I emailed him back saying i believed witness statements should only be done at the meeting. He did not reply. I felt very uneasy about this and a relative mentioned getting some help as none of this is being dealt with properly. I contacted a workplace representation service and spoke to a very helpful person. They are a union rep and after discussing the case with them and finding out how much they charge, i've decided to get their help formerly. Because of this we are now re-scheduling the meeting to a more suitable date. I'm aware this is not going to be cheap but I can not proceed on my own and we are talking a “David and Goliath” scenario here as it would just be me against the NHS and i've seen what they do to loyal members of staff many times and i've done nothing wrong so I do not want to end up as another one of their victims.

i know absolutely nothing about the issues they are accusing me of, it's all just appeared out of the blue and i'm not prepared to go down without a fight.
i will keep you updated as to what actually happens from now. It seems to me that these days workers have no chance if a company suddenly decides they want rid of that worker. I raised serious concerns a couple of years ago about my departments bad working practices and i'm starting to wonder if what i'm going through now is a result of me raising my concerns. Maybe i'm reading too much into it because i'm feeling terribly paranoid and victimised at the moment.

They are now refusing me union representation saying that my hospital trust do not recognise the union and that means I cant use them and I have to attend the original meeting with a colleague on thursday. I have just spoken to my union rep and they can not refuse me having the representation that I want. Weve just replied to the investigator with a very strong email stating they need to be able to justify their refusal to allow me representation. So im just waiting to hear back. Fighting against the NHS for justice is not an easy thing. This is now making me really ill. I had chest pains last night and keep being sick and having dizzy spells. I do not know how much longer i can carry on with this. Its disgusting that they can get away with treating people this way. I will keep you updated with what happens in the next couple of weeks
