Employer discrimination?

I work for a very large retailer, I’ve been employed there for about 20 years as a manager, now because of Corp pressure to restructure , I am being pressured to quit or be fired because I’m one of the higher paid positions in my location. I’m 60’years old and have always been known for my outstanding work ethic, but now to save money they want to get rid of me and hire younger, cheaper help! Do I have any recourse against the retailer ?

If you are in the UK then you are protected and they will have to go through consultation redundancy . Having worked for the company for 20 years there should be a good payout.
