Good Evening
I was made redundant in August 2017 with no notice, no nothing just a telephone call on 4th August saying that I was redundant as of the end of July. I went to a et and won my case, ex boss didn't show up to the hearing. I was awarded quite a substantial sum having been there for 16 years.
The tribunal put the judgement in my ex bosses name and not the company name. He appealed on the basis that it was the company name and not his name and also his address had changed, the tribunal refused his appeal twice.
As he didn't pay, I was advised by the tribunal to follow the transfer up process via the government website which I did, it was sent to a solicitor and a high court writ was obtained this was then passed to bailiffs who have been trying to get the money. My ex boss has now applied to have the judgement set aside and has today sent a stay of execution. Therefore the bailiffs can do no more. I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. This guy has so much money he doesnt really care. He left me with no job and no money with a 7 month old baby and a mortgage. Just wondering what his chances of winning and having it set aside are? I'm not feeling too hopeful but feel i have to keep going as I've done.nothing wrong.
