Hiya, My boss has offered me to go salaried at work after I gave my resignation in. I sad yes to this and stayed however I have not signed a new contract and am still on my 32 hour pay horly contract, we decided from this month I would go salaried (verbal agrement) but I have been under staffed and had to do more than my contracted. I have done 188 hours this month at a 18000 a year salary before tax that leaves me at 1500 a month divide that by my hours worked that leaves me at £7.97 a hour which is under the min wage as I'm 31. He has said that they need me to what ever hours I need to as I havnr signed anything am I still entitled to the money i would be losing out in also is it legal for me to be working under the min wage on a salary? Many thanks:-)
Salary, hours no new contract?

37 hrs 5 days a week an £18k salary is £9.33 an hour.
40 hrs 5 days a week it's £8.63 an hour
32 hours it's obviously higher.
You need to know what hours you are contracted to and any overtime arrangements.
Have you submitted time time sheets for your hours as you did prior to agreeing to change to salary and it's been refused ? Why did you agree to go to Salary rather than hourly pay ? Security rather than pay increase I'd guess ?
What was your previous hourly rate ?#staysafestayhome

You should not be working on less than minimum wage based on your contract hours and your salary if you move to that basis of being paid.
