It's been a particularly frustrating day today as the Tribunal has emailed to say that a judge isn't available for the case next week. My life has been on hold, waiting for the hearing.
It seems against the overriding objective to delay the trial after months of waiting. It was rearranged from a two day hearing to a four day hearing in April. With two working days before the scheduled hearing and the risk of a delay (as the Listing Officer puts it).

Any ideas on how to prevent a delay?

I am sorry you are not alone in this experience recently and I have known of people being told the day before and being asked to attend another location! I appreciate that this is extremely frustrating for you.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about a delay being at the instigation of the Tribunal because of the lack of availability of judges.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

Fortunately, it seems like we have at least three days with the fourth being confirmed on Monday. There is a risk of the case being part-heard, but it might be possible to hear it in three days with remedy (fingers crossed) heard on a different day.
