    Leave job whilst suspended

    have being suspended from work as I am being investigated for theft. I am.due to see the police and then go for a work interview regarding this matter. I know I'm going to be dismissed and police will probably press charges. It sounds bad but.its not what people think. Do I have a right to leave work before they want me for an interview what would my rights be as I have found another job, which is more hours etc and i haven't been convicted as of yet
    so where do I stand. Thanks.

    You can hand in your notice at any time, however whilst you are still an employee, your employer can still ask you to attend a meeting regarding the matter.
