Hi, wondering if anyone can help. Long story short, I accepted voluntary redundancy when it was offered at work. I signed for this and my end date was agreed to be 31/7/19. Everything was sorted. Now, due to rising student numbers, college are creating a new role to do something similar to what I do. They have offered me this on the same terms and conditions as I am on now but if I take it, I won't be getting my redundancy, even though its all been signed for and agreed.
My question is, is this right? Is it not a binding agreement.and that they are making my current role redundant? I have to decide this week whether or not I take the contract or take the redundancy and leave.
