    Eventually received a letter from the liquidators, which I presume they sent out to all the creditors.
    The date for liquidation has been set for 28th May, so I presume I will receive my CN number on that date or just after?

      I am so pleased you have finally heard something.

      The liquidators should send you a RP1 fact sheet and your CN number. Here is a link to the RP1

      Since the date for liquidation is set for 28 May you cannot apply for what you are owed until after this date. Depending on the amount of work involved for the liquidators since they were appointment you may get the information in advance of 28 May but if not it should be soon after.
