My current employer footed the bill for my tuition, this was a university degree and the total tuition was in the region of £25k. I have been presented with an opertunity which i am considering but this would require me to leave my current employment.
My contract reads: "The fees for all such courses will be paid by the company those fees shall be repaid to your employer if: You leave the employment of the company either during or within 12 months after completing the course."
My question is, what is "completing the course"?
My last lecture was the 25th April 2018
My Last exam was 22nd May 2018
My Certificate is dated July 2018
and I graduated in October 2018.
As far as my employer is concerned they had me full-time from the 25th of April but I'm not sure how to interpret the clause.
Unfortunately I dont have anyone within the company to who I can ask without raising suspicion.
thanks
