    Grievance meeting/appeal

    Hi all,

    hope you are all okay? I am just looking for some advice ...

    Just got the date of my Grievance appeal, which is held around 250 miles away . Can an employer make you to travel such a distance to attend the meeting?

      Nothing mentioned in the letter inviting for Appeal Hearing . I was dismissed week ago and I appealed against the decision.
      Can I ask the employer to arrange the hearing in my usual work place? I got newborn baby and its just very inconvenient for me now to leave my wife without any support. Also I should have been on paternity leave at the moment.
