There are a group of us Agency Workers who are on assignments for a very large global firm. We all work for Manpower. Some of us were tuped from other agencies now under Manpower and have been under this agency for atleast 5 years. We have different length of service all doing the same assignments we signed up for. Some have 10 years some have only 3 years. We have only ever signed 1 contract (SED) when we first were employed. Some have notice periods of 1 week and mine is the only one with 1 month. We are all on parity contracts so our holidays and pay are related to proper employees at the firm. We are now going to be made redundant, ie our assignments will end. We are having mixed messages from Manpower and also our company contract owner. So I need some clarification what we can expect.
Questions:
1. Will we get redundancy pay? Whether we were tuped from other agencies to Manpower or not
2. What should we get from Manpower? ie offered employment close to what we do now, where we live and at parity (10%) to what we are earning.
3. If we don't get offered anymore assignments what happens?
If someone can just tell us what to expect. Thanks
