  • Personal injury claim

    Hi
Following my grievance at work which has been upheld I am going to make a personal injury claim. I am aware a claim has to be lodged within 3 years but what does this mean? Is it the time from when the injury happened until the time I write to my employer saying I am making a personal injury claim and will be instructing a solicitor? Or is it the time from injury until the time a solicitor sends a letter to my employer? Or is it the time of injury til the date a court case is commenced?
    Thank you

The court claim needs to have commenced within 3 years of the injury occurring.
