    FROM RTF File

On the 4/09/18 I was taken to a meeting room by the production manager. There had been an argument at work between my team leader and another colleague and for some reason I was being blamed for it when it had nothing to do with me. Subsequently I was told I was moving sections because she wouldn't have me back. After the telling off i was Very upset and inconsolable and was then left on my own as a blubbering mess. I saw a box of tissues on the window sill so decided to go and get them, I then stumbled , fell back and the tip of my steel toecap boot left a small indent in the wall. Because I was worried about the telling off I had already had , I didn't report it thinking I would be in even more trouble.
While I was then learning a new job on a new section which in turn occupied my mind and put the accident out of my thoughts. I then had a disciplinary meeting where I told them what had happened ( including my medical records as I have spine and disc problems) to which they called me a liar and had me escorted off the premises and fired for gross misconduct. I have since appealed the decision and lost and tried a grievance due to disability but they are still calling me a liar which I am not .
I am now trying to find a new job but as an honest person I am being asked what happened in my last job and I am telling them , this has resulted in everyone knocking me back. The company has now stopped me from getting another job because of this dismissal...can I do anything about this as defamation of character or anything else Because I don't know what to do anymore!!
