I have been working for my employer for just shy of 3 years - I started there as an Assistant Manager, and just over a year ago I was promoted to General Manager. I was given some targets to achieve at this time.
In February, my boss came to see me at work and the gist of the conversation was that he didn't think I was.coping as Manager and was looking to bring someone else in. I could continue in the role until then.
At the beginning of June the new manager started and for the first couple of weeks all was OK. We got along OK and I helped him out in areas he was unfamiliar with.
However, for the past 3 weeks it has gone down hill!
My contract is for 35-40 hrs a week, but I have only been given about 20 per week and several days have been sent home early.
If I resigned, could I claim Constructive Dismissal as a breach of contract has happened??
