Hi
I am looking for clarification.
Re organisation has left my job redundant, employer offered an interview for a suitable job within the organisation, I refused the offer of the interview and no further offers were made. Employer is now saying I refused the offer of a suitable job and therefore they will not pay redundancy.
I was not offered an alternate job just an interview for a job for which others were competing, does this qualify in law as an offer of a suitable job?
Any advice much appreciated as I have a meeting with my line manager tomorrow.
Thank you.
