Hi
My step daughter who is now 21 is doing her apprenticeship in nursery child care, she was told that she must do a two day first aid course which she would have to pay.
She has done the course other this weekend (outside work hours) and she has to pay £80 yesterday to the course organiser and do it in her own time.
I'm sure she should not have had to pay for the course and also she should have been paid for attending it, am I right to assume this?
Also her cousin is the owner of the nursery and is well known for taking liberties when it comes to her employees rights
