Contract purchase final payment

I am hoping someone can advise. I have a contract purchase agreement with alphera finance with the final payment of Ł5500 over due. Unfortunately I’m unable to pay this until April when im
able to access my pension. I’ve reached out numerous times to them to ask for a delay until then by they don’t respond. I have now received a default notice to pay by February 12th. I can’t pay until April. Do I let this go to court and explain there?

have you "reached out" in writing? If not, do that.

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)
