  • Letter before claim from VCS

    Hi
    I’m hoping someone can help
almost 3 years ago (27 December 2018) I was going on holiday from Liverpool airport , I had booked the airport car park for a weeks stay . I drove up to the barrier but it did not read my registration and didn’t lift up . I got out of the car and pressed the button for help , a lady came over the speaker and it was sorted out in less than 2 minutes , the barrier opened and I parked up. On my return from holiday I was shocked to receive a fixed penalty notice for stopping in a zone where stopping is prohibited.
I have ignored all letters from VCS as I have done nothing wrong and was hoping someone would look at the time line on the photographs and realise what had happened .
Today I have received a Letter before claim from them and it looks like this will go to court . I have sent an e mail to Liverpool Airport explaining what had happened and I am waiting for a reply.
The problem I have is , if it goes to court how can I prove this is what happened , will they have photos to see that I was only there a couple of minutes because the barrier didn’t lift up first time.
    thanks in advance

              Hi,

I had the same with my uploaded photos (straight from my phone). I then downloaded them to my laptop, opened up the doc, used the edit button where it gave me the option to resize to the 800 x 800 this forum upload required. Hope it works!
