  • PRA Letter before Claim

Hi, my alleged debt of 4.5k has been passed around different dca since 2017. Now PRA has been assigned the debt, as of late last year, and now provided me with letter before claim. Ive have not made contact with them nor requested any documents from them yet. Im also prepared to pay 25%, but like i say haven't been on contact.

Should I tick Box I to request CCA and see their response before attempting to negotiate?

    Thanks for your time.

PRA are very robust at the moment with issuing LBA’s, I have just received one with them only having the account for a few months. I haven’t had any contact with them so was surprised that they opted for this action so quickly. I suppose it was to be expected given that the government have restricted their options at the moment what with COVID etc.
I have sent a Cca request and will return the form filling section D and I with request for further details.

as for your situation I don’t know enough about your circumstances to comment on best thing to do?
