    CCJ owed to a now dissolved LLP

    I had a judgement made against me in January 2023 which I tried to defend and lost. The court ordered a monthly payment plan of which I have been paying.

    I then received a request from 1 of the 3 partners in the LLP asking me to change the bank details for payment to which I agreed

    I went to make payment this month and the payment was rejected due to the account being closed. I had in my error used the old bank details.

    After checking companies house I have now found out the LLP has been dissolved voluntarily.

    I am happy to continue to make payments however should i reuqest that they get the original order amended to reflect who i acutally owe the money to now? Which at this point i am not sure who this is?

    The judgement creditor no longer exists.

    Put the monthly payments aside safely in case someone comes calling with a clearly documented right to receive the money.
