Please can you help I've received a small claim from Cabot who bought a debt from vanquis for credit card debt.
i live in scotland so it's small claims, for £2777 they said I last paid in June 2013' but I know I haven't paid anything since 2009. I took the card out in 2006 and unfortunately fell behind with payments due to ill health and husbands redundancy.
I've now had this summons that was posted through my letterbox even though it had recorded delivery label on it. However I don't want to ignore this, what should I do please?
i have until may 22nd for court date, need to respond 8th may?
should I request CCA? As I doubt they'll have paperwork? Please can you help? Thanks
