Cabot account review

Hi all just joined this forum:tinysmile_grin_t:

Can anyone tell me if cabot can force an account review?

I allegedly owe them £3000 which i have been paying for some time, the last time they did one of these reviews was a year ago and they insisted on doubling the payment or they told me they would take me to court and get a charging order placed on my house!!!!!

I did agree to increasing the payment to stop them hassling me and they said they have set up a ten year plan for this debt which I was happy with, now it would seem they want to move the goalposts so to speak.....can anyone help with this?

Oh and I forgot to mention that I have never missed a payment.

refuse to answer any of their questions citing the fact that if you could pay more you would do and that your circumstances has not changed in the last 12 months.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
