  • One up for us against Cabot

I wrote an email to Cabot today telling them that calling me was a criminal offence in breach of the Protection from Harassment Act (as well as pursuing my alleged debts being in breach of a whole plethora of other legislation) and if they continued in that vein I would press charges against them. Got an immediate response from William Wellinghof their lawyer saying my telephone number had been removed from their system. Ta Ra! One up for the Beagles!

    Well Done Pinky!! :beagle:
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Brilliant Pinky - well done you. You don't fancy posting up the relevant bits of legislation do you. I suspect most of us know them, but nobody knows everything and the more we share this stuff the more we can stuff them!

For obvious reasons I do not want to post the email but I will send it to anyone who PMs me.
