  • Final letter off Cabot I hope

Dear all, thank you all so much for your help with this, at last Cabot have sent me this I hope the Final letter,
    quote
We acknowledge that your above referenced account is statute barred and so governed by the limitations act 1980. Under the OFT guidlines it is accepted that legally the debt still exists but that collections of these debts must in no way be contray to section 40(1) of the Administration of justice Act 1970.

Whilst we don't consider our actions to have breached any law or regulatory guidlines your account has been withdrawn from our regular collections process.

then the usual drivel about calling one of there helpful customer advisors.

once again thank you for all your help.

    WOOHOO!!!!!

I'd be tempted to send them a S10 notice, as there is now no need for them to continue to process your data, as there is no account to administer.

    Well done.

            Excellent news

Sad as it is my score is for DCA's I've personally dealt with.
If I kept score for all DCA's I have beaten for other people as well it would be massive
