    Cabot overseas

    I have an old 9k debt with Cabot and another 37k with various banks and credit card companies.
    I moved to Spain 4 years ago permanantly in the middle of nowhere up a mountain, I have no property or money in my name...not even a bank account! I have just got a letter from Cabot asking if I live here.....should I just ignore everything as I am never returning to the UK, I'm not botheted by CCJ's or any court action as I don't have property or bank accounts in the UK.
    what can any of these debt collection companies do do me?

    So no one knows the answer to this one? I'll try and google it to find out.

      Hi can I ask if Cabot contacted you in Spain by letter or if the letter you were talking about was in the UK? I have irish debt that Cabot have taken over but I’m living in the UK and considering moving to Spain so I was wondering if they do actually pursue oversea’s debt. Would be grateful to hear how this went for you. Thanks
