  • Cabot CCA Documents Sent after 8 months from request

    Good afternoon,

I am hoping someone on here would be able to help me with an issue I am having with Cabot Financial, I received a debt collection letter from them regarding an old Nat West account I had and then requested a CCA from them. They responded to say that they did not have the information and that the debt was unenforceable until they were able to find the information. I have received various letters over the last 8 months chasing the debt. I have today received a letter with the CCA information supplied some 8 months after I requested the information. I have no idea if what they have sent me is correct, would I be able to send the documents to someone so they can advise if this does actually meet the correct criteria.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Kind regards

    SJT

It should show the agreement that you used to apply for a loan or credit card, I would request a photocopy of the original document as anything can be made up.

Hi yes im in the same boat with the PRA group after 6 months they sent me what looks like a photo copy of my CCA with my address at the top and at the bottom a box with a tick in it and a date looks a bit dubious there is no signature from the bank or my amount of credit or credit limit also it had a payment sheet with it and I get10% off my debt if I pay within a period is this made up?

It might be an idea to start your own thread.
