CCJ claim made but nothing has happened for 8 months?

CCJ claim made but nothing has happened for 8 months?

Cabot began a CCJ claim with me for around Ł4k 2 days before the 6 years statute barred would have elapsed....
So they began the court proceedings for a CCJ which i have defended by submitting via the official government money claim site
So its been approx 8 months now and nothing has happened, can i get this initial claim removed as it feels its hanging over my head and they can begin it all again when they feel like it..

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
