Good Afternoon everyone
My wife received a notice of claim for an old debt from 2017 which she does not acknowledge and wishes to dispute however the claim is made out to her previous surname. She has been married and had a different name for the last 9 years. Would there be any point in responding to this claim as it would not be from her legal name?
Is it a good idea to ignore this as any judgement or conclusion from this would be against a name that does not exist?
Thank you in advance.
