The infamous M&C, started bothering me last June, claiming an outstanding CCJ 2008, for £2100, told them to provide the original agreement. They gave me agreement number and I rang Swindon county court and said the CCJ was “no further action”. As far as Swindon are concerned it’s resolved.
I rang M@C, told them and they said it’s still payable, I offered them £500, to get of my back, they said no. This was in July last year , all went quiet until January when I got exactly the same first letter as last June, letters have come in March, April, June. They’ve tried ringing.. blocked them.
in my view they can’t prove it’s my debt, I offered £500, which I thought was reasonable..
I had so much debt back Then I can’t remember.., as I went through a debt consolidation company and cleared them all.
how do I get them of my back..
    cheers

If the creditor has already obtained a county court judgment against you then the creditor doesn't need to provide the original agreement (they're not required to do that either). The creditor can just take steps to enforce the CCJ instead.*
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

Unfortunately because they have a CCJ - even if it is from 12 years ago - means that they can ask for the monies but cannot just seek enforcement without permission of the Court (rarely given). Do you still live at the same address?
