Hi, I have received a letter back February 2017 from the court, after I put in a defence against a Cabot’s court claim, I received a letter back from the court saying that they had 28 days to reply and after this date it would be Stayed. I had no further communication from the court or Cabot. I just recently received a letter from Moorecroft saying they are now acting on behalf of Cabot to collect.

Any information on what the next step to take is please and is there anything I can do to stop being chased for this money I do not owe.

if a claim is stayed since 2017, then I would ignore Moorcroft as they have no power only commission agents, asfar as Cabot they are trying to be clever in the hope you fall for their game, if stayed it is up to them to apply to court to continue the case and pay their own fee, do not enter into letter table tennis with morecroft
