    Yet another letter received today.

    Dear saffy

    INVESTIGATING YOUR ACCOUNT

I refer to your letter, which was received in our office on 29 June 2009 and our letter dated 1 July 2009.
Although we strive to provide you with our response within 10 working days from the date we received notice of your complaint, we are currently investigating your concerns in further detail and therefore there is a slight delay in providing you with our response.
I apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience that you may suffer as a result. We shall aim to provide you with our response within due course.
If you do not receive a response after 8 weeks from the date we received your complaint to us, you may refer you complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You will be able to find details about the Financial Ombudsman in our leaflet, which we enclosed in our acknowledgement letter dated 1 July 2009.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0845 026 0463 if you have further queries. The Customer Assurance department is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
We thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Re: Saffy v Cabot / Barclaycard

Guess what, dear little Steve Perring sent me the same letter again on 28 July. Apart from the top line reading now.

'I refer to your letter, which was received in our office on 29 June 2009, and our letters dated 1 and 14 July 2009'.

How nice of him to keep in touch.
