Hi - just in the process of preparing to take on the might Barclays
Wont bore you with the specifics but it's regarding interest rates -
My liability has increased £8k, but that is over the course of the loan and I won't pay that extra until the loan finishes, to date the excess is circa £3k.
As the court fees are dependant on the claim value I'm tempted to use the excess to date rather than the £8k - would I get away with it?
Assuming I won I doubt very much I would be obliged to continue paying the higher rate, so not sure how it would work. Don't want to get bogged down in the specifics here, would just appreciate anyone's thoughts on the claim value.
Also I see you can put "not exceeding £10k"- I assume by doing that it would attract the higher fee of £455?
Thanks in advance.
