  • claimant doing nothing

can some one advise me please ?
I and my co-defendant have been stuck in the high court process for 18 months over a civil claim.

my co-defendant has submitted a n244 for strikeout since last year but the claimant has not responded.
we are waiting since last august for a ccmc but the claimant has done nothing about this.

how do we ask the court to move this forwards or force the claimant to progress.

niether me or my co-defendant have heard anything from the other parties solicitor for 6 months

Why has the strike out application not been heard?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read this: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

the claimant has not filled in the form for dates etc. their solicitors have had this in their possesion since october last year.
the case started in october 2022 initially but was finally issued on 6th feb 2023 with the preaction protocol letter dated 7th feb 2023 and we recieved our copies on the 8th feb 2022.

my defense was submitted within 14 days but the reply was only issued in november 2023 that now tries to connect myself and my co-defendent in a joint venture but the initial poc were seperate
my co defendant is a litigant in person
