  • MCOL make a warrant request?

My situation is that, my claim made via MCOL was regarding some boiler repair work done by a limited company, and this company had defended my claim. A sanction was made regarding DQ not filed.

Last week my request for judgement 'to pay me immediately' was issued and am weighing up whether to use the 'request warrant' option .

(I have read this post and have found it very helpful : https://legalbeagles.info/forums/for...y-put-in-place)

    Questions:

Whether I should give the Defendant time to contact me to make payment (ie 7 working days) or request a Warrant now?

As I have not done this before and I want to know whether the Defendant can delay or counter claim, etc, if I request a warrant ? (I know they have the funds but that does not mean they will pay)

    Many thanks

I have submitted a warrant request. The online form looks as it it had included everything but the submitted form have cut out my contact number for the Baliffs- so I am unsure how I can let them know my contact details. As I am concern that they cannot locate the defendant.
